RCYD(C) Series Permanent Magnet Self-Discharging Magnetic Separators

The permanent magnet automatic discharge iron remover is a continuous, automatic iron removal device consisting of a high-performance permanent magnet circuit system, an iron discharge conveyor belt, a gear motor, a drive drum, a driven drum, and a frame. Installed above a conveyor, the device continuously and automatically attracts and discharges ferromagnetic impurities from the material, eliminating the need for manual cleaning.

Featuring a high-gradient magnetic circuit optimized through computer simulation, the unit delivers high magnetic field strength, a long operating range, and stable magnetic performance. It requires no excitation power supply and has low operational energy consumption. The dual-pole structure ensures long-term, stable operation, delivering excellent iron removal performance even under harsh conditions such as high dust levels, humidity, and high temperatures.

It is suitable for continuous iron removal in belt conveyor systems, effectively protecting downstream equipment such as crushers, ball mills, roll presses, and screening equipment, reducing equipment wear, and improving product purity and production efficiency.

 

Principle of Operation

Product Features

The permanent magnet self-discharging magnetic separator is installed above the belt conveyor. When material passes through the magnetic field zone, iron parts, iron lumps and various ferromagnetic impurities mixed within the material are attracted by the high-intensity magnetic field and adsorbed onto the surface of the discharge belt at the base of the unit. As the discharge conveyor belt operates continuously, the captured ferromagnetic materials are automatically transported to the non-magnetic zone and released, enabling continuous iron capture and discharge. This eliminates the need for shutdowns for cleaning, thereby ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the conveying system.

Installation Methods

Inclined Suspension Installation: Primarily used at special workstations such as the head of the conveyor belt or on inclines, the inclination angle of the equipment can be adjusted as required to match the on-site conveying trajectory. This not only enhances the adsorption of ferrous contaminants but also facilitates smoother iron discharge, preventing the retention of ferrous particles. It is suitable for production lines with varying belt speeds and operating conditions.

Horizontal suspended installation: Suitable for use above standard horizontal conveyor belts. The equipment is suspended securely directly above the belt, aligned with the direction of material flow to ensure uniform magnetic field coverage of the material layer, thereby achieving stable iron removal. This installation method is robust, distributes loads evenly and is suitable for most standardised production lines.
